Mazing through the Masquerade Ball, we stumbled upon so many crafty masks, but these two look like they could be pulled right out of an old black and white film! We love how their whole ensemble embodies their masked looks!

Their creative costumes have inspired us to find out just how creative our followers are! Between now and November 3rd, send us a picture ( of your Halloween costume! The winner will be featured on WanderLust!! We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Georgia May Jagger!

The current face of Harper's Bazaar November Issue is Georgia May Jagger, daughter of rockstar Mick Jagger, and supermodel Jerry Hall. Georgia's recent photoshoot with Hudson Jeans has sparked a lot of controversy over her topless shots. She tells the media that her parents were supportive, and that it is important to set sail in her modeling career.

Georgia May's relationship with Hudson is rumored to develop even further with a 'Hudson by Georgia May Jagger' line. (The line is inspired by legendary rock band Guns N' Roses!) We support her style, her attitude, and her ambition to make a name in the fashion world! Love this video... looking forward to what impact Georgia May will have in the future.

Brooklyn gives birth to a Barneys!

(Photo from

The first ever Brooklyn Barneys Co-op opened it's doors yesterday (October 14th.) The flagship is a haven for designers such as Rag & Bone and Opening Ceremony. Now, along with Urban Outfitters and other trendy shops, Atlantic Avenue boasts a Barneys. The outlet is a more affordable retailer than Barneys New York, and in our opinion promotes the Jenny Humphreys over the Blair Waldorfs. We'll have to check this street out!

The 2010 Woolly Mammoth

Everybody remembers Chanel's epic iceberg runway back in February. Only Karl Lagerfeld could send out a line of models from the Ice Age. WELL we officially just tried on the fur boots with icicle heels... death. The outrageousness of them made them that much more beautiful. The best part: faux-fur.

Q&A with Benjamin Jay

Earlier this year we posted about our friend and up-and-coming designer, Benjamin Jay. We caught up with him recently for a little Q&A:

WanderlustWas it an easy transition from modeling to designing?
Benjamin JayI mean I don't really think I've totally gone from one to the other. I think modeling helped build a good foundation for my designing, or maybe it was more of the sand to the concrete mix of the foundation, and the motivation to succeed is the water that makes use of the sand.

WanderLustHow do you differentiate Something Rebellious in such a highly-competitive industry?
Benjamin JayWell BENJAMIN JAY is the second season, Something Rebellious was the first season and was a lot of fun, but BENJAMIN JAY is a lot higher end and is definitely taking me to another level.

WanderLustIs there a designer you look up to and are inspired by?
Benjamin Jay: I hate this question. Because I really dont...

WanderLustWhat was your favorite Era for fashion, and would you ever convey that through your designs?
Benjamin JayHmm... Medieval Times. I'm down with the chain mesh tops.

WanderLustWhat's your opinion on blogging and how it will affect the future of fashion?
Benjamin JayBlogging is the complete way of the future. People key-in to blogs that they think they parallel well with, and when you find that it's like you can live vicariously through the blogger.

WanderLustHow do you see your brand expanding in the future?
Benjamin JayAs much as possible. Still in my first year of business and the line has already gone international.

Brad leaves Team Zoe :(

(Photo from

The last time we bumped into Brad Goreski was at Lincoln Center before the Jill Stuart show. Little did we know, this was his last Fashion Week as Rachel Zoe's assistant. Brad told People "I love Rachel and she's taught me everything I know. But there's a point where either I do it now or I'll never know what it's like to spread my wings and soar." We're excited to see where Brad will take his career, and wonder if Rachel can ever replace him. (Of course, rumors about a baby-on-board make it seem like good timing!)

Balmain Spring Summer 2011

(Photos from

Some runway shows require a last minute safety pin here and there, and prayer that the front-rows finest won't see them, but Balmain took it to a whole new level! It would be almost impossible NOT to post these outfits from the Spring Summer 2011 show. Christophe Decarnin showcased his trademark metallics and leathers, and this season topped it off with thousands of studs and safety pins. Viscous, but sexy. We're always a fan of the more dangerous side of women's fashion! Which piece is your favorite?
