Michael Kors and Fern Mallis

The 92Y held another incredible discussion between Fern Mallis and famous designer, Michael Kors. Each story he told was not only inspirational, but hilarious! Who would have thought... well about the hilarious part, of course he's inspirational.

When talking about being asked to work as one of Project Runways judges he said, "when I heard reality fashion show I instantly thought of Survivor, and just pictured designers eating fabric!" Luckily, this was not the case, but epic image nonetheless.

Mallis asked Kors if he could have anyone play him in a movie who would it be. Without hesitation, Daniel Craig if it was a drama, and Will Ferrell if it was a comedy! As for trend advice for 2012 he said, "Get a tailor!!" Agreed :)

Regardless, we were so happy we had the opportunity to learn a lot, laugh a lot, and eat way too many Baked by Melissa cupcakes, and possibly too much Given Liqueur...
