Intermezzo
After a longgg day wandering the Piers at the Intermezzo Collections trade show, we gathered one thing... neon is back in full force for Spring/Summer 2012. Electric envelope handbags, poppy yellow and pink pumps, and two of our forever favs.. Grateful Dead tee's and Beetlejuice stripes :)

Donna Karan and Fern Mallis
The other night we were lucky to attend "Fashion Icons - Donna Karan", presented by Fern Mallis, creator of New York Fashion Week. Mallis spoke with Karan about her life and career, and we quickly learned that both women are extremely entertaining. Donna Karan's story is impressive and inspiring, and if you don't already know how much her philanthropic efforts have impacted the world, we suggest you read about it!

Interview with Gossip Girl Stylist, Eric Daman!
There's one thing that can instantly cure the case of "the Mondays," and that will occur precisely at 9pm on January 30th when the CW airs the 100th episode of Gossip Girl, with one of the most glamorous Royal Weddings on all of television!
Here at WanderLust, we curtsy to the man that can create a character solely out of patterned tights and a headband. The New York Times credits Eric Daman as being "Arguably as integral to creating a character as the ''Gossip Girl'' writers" and we couldn't agree more. Eric Daman, Gossip Girl's style guru, has pioneered wardrobe styling for the Upper East, but after talking with him, we found out he influences a much more diverse group of fashionistas than just "Manhattan's elite." If you've been following our tweets you'd know we've been working on styling a super spooky music video. Well, let's just say one thing led to another, and eventually we were in the music video... as mounted heads. It seems so fitting for WanderLust. The song is "Surf India" by Deadbeat Darling. They will be playing at the NYC Arctic Ball 2012, AND the video will premier, so be sure to come play with us! ;)

Metallic Madness
So psyched we discovered Nettie Kents jagged jewels. We kept piling more and more of these rings on as we snapped shots. Needless to say, we're obsessed. Even better, they matched perfectly with OPI's "Warm & Fozzie" nail lacquer. Thank God they came out with a Muppets collection... it's about time :)
