Just before the madness that was New York Fashion Week, we co-hosted an event with Miss America at Lifestyle Trimco. Any woman's dream... an event with an abundance of crowns and vodka.

Quite the out-of-body experience to see our logo next to such an iconic brand (amongst all of the other incredible sponsors!) On top of that, Laura Kaeppeler is such a sweetheart, and we were totally digging her lace and leather look.

Whitney Eve

Sweet patterns and feminine extras were just what we expected and more from Whitney Eve, and she definitely delivered this season. If someone can make us lust after mustard yellow and powder blue... they've accomplished a difficult task.

We were thrilled when Whitney asked us to rock her pieces to the show. If you were wondering if we changed in the middle of Lincoln Center, we did. If you were also wondering if Lincoln Center is live streamed, it might be. #Notmadaboutit. (All photos of our NYFW outfits to follow!)

Oh, and PS... she's bringing anklets back in the best way possible. Metal bangles. We need.

Bibhu Mohapatra

Okay, now that we got that out of the way, what a collection from Bibhu Mohapatra! We were psyched to talk with Bibhu (who was surprisingly calm) before the show! He talked about his inspiration for this collection, which was based on a luna moth that lives for only seven days, and is a symbol of spiritual transformation. The best part is you can actually see the transformations as each piece went down the runway. Stunning.

We're mildly obsessed with cobalt blue this season, which took precedence in his pieces. So glad we were able to have such a beautiful last day to NYFW!

Candela

Feminine frocks, and fun florals were the theme at Candela this season! Ultra girly pieces made for the perfect picture in this whimsical white gazebo. Our style can be harsh at times, but we love how Candela has a sense of romance, and the bohemian lifestyle sewn into every single one of their pieces. It's about time we add some of these beautiful garments to our closet :)
